Earlier this week, I decided to visit Clinton Lake, about fifteen minutes from my dorm at KU. This was really the first time since moving to Lawrence that I had seen something other than a city environment, which was a breath of fresh air. I find it extremely ironic how all of my childhood, all I wanted was to get away from the rural, outdoor environment which surrounded me. Now, all I want is to spend time in nature.
